The team at High Access worked with the City of Melbourne to upgrade and implement an energy efficient solution for the iconic Melbourne Webb Bridge located on Melbourne’s Yarra River. The custom retrofit solution was designed and installed by the team at High Access Group and resulting in an amazing reduction in power usage for the public lighting on the bridge, as well as restoring a magnificent Melbourne public icon to its former glory!

The LED solution resulted in a power usage reduction of exactly half the previous usage, taking power consumption on the bridge lighting down from 13,000 watts to 6,500 watts, saving over 40 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.

In addition to the energy use saving, the implemented lighting should be basically maintenance free for many years.
