June 2020 saw the successful completion of the sports lighting upgrade at Springfield Park for Whitehorse City Council.

Replacing the dated metal halide fittings mounted on four poles around the oval with 16 new 1500W Optivision LED fittings across six light poles, an average of 167 lux was achieved, far surpassing the expected 100 lux.

Coupled with a custom Dali control system, enabling dimming for training and community use, the lighting will provide an invaluable asset for Council for years to come.
